MR. WILLIAM R. YOUNG
William R. Young, Sr., age 81, passed away December 3, 2001 in Wichita Kansas.
He was born February 2,1920 at Peru, Kansas to Theodore and Estella (Ellinwood)Young. He married Mildred Greathouse on December 13, 1937 in Sedan, KS. He was a retired Petroleum Maintenance Contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred, Park City, KS, son and daughter-in-law, William R Young, Jr. and Rita, Wichita, KS, daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Raymond Grier, Wichita, KS, daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Arnie Grossnickle, Maize, KS, sister, Melba Williams, Monroe, GA, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by both his parents, several brotlers and sisters and two infant children.
A memorial service was held Thursday, December 6, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Chapel Mausoleum in Wichita, KS.
